B-Side Los Angeles will be stretching its Southern California roots for our first ever Bay Area show on May 6th, kicking off the movement of B-Side's "Eyes Down" underground series to Northern California. The Bay Area premiere of our event series will be headlined by none other than North American dubstep pioneer Joe Nice, alongside a stacked lineup of fellow dubsteppers Saule, Dubsworth, Oxóssi and Peter Lionheart from Inner Standing Sound. The event will also feature sound provided by Inner Standing Sound, dab bar hosted by Orgo Xtracts, jungle juice on tap (two flavors, 21+ to drink), and a spread of spring rolls and open faced sandwiches.
B-Side Bay Area's first headliner, Joe Nice, is globally recognized as the first and most respected dubstep DJ in North America, making him a pivotal player in the global growth and success of dubstep and the ambassador of the dubstep sound in the States. Since 2001, Joe Nice has been performing extensively across the world with his bag of highly coveted 10" dubplates, his enthusiastic live performance skills and stage presence, upfront music selection and pristine mixing abilities, all of which serve to grow his already worldwide fan base. Accompanying this State side dubstep royalty during our first B-Side Bay Area show is local Bay Area heavyweight, Saule, deep/heavy dub reggae influenced/live guitar and bass act, Dubsworth, the highly eclectic bass music producer/DJ, Oxossi, and Peter Lionheart representing the dub reggae group Inner Standing Sound.
