Back in 2007 when dubstep was starting to branch off from its deep, underground roots, Caspa and Rusko exploded onto the global scene as pack leaders of the new breed of international dubstep artists with their historic FabricLive 37 album, laced with idiosyncratic UK wobbles and now-staple dubstep tracks. After unleashing onto the musical world the first all-dubstep edition of the venerated FabricLive Mix Series, a 29 track release filled with deep tension, dark moods, and low-end bass destruction, Caspa and Rusko skyrocketed into the bass heavy spotlight in their own rights, and now stand as integral figureheads and forefathers in the genre's overall history. Two wildly successful music careers later, Caspa and Rusko have rekindled their musical partnership eight years since their most important collaboration, playing their first (sold out) back to back show in America at Exchange LA in October of 2015, signaling to the electronic music world that the history-making duo is back to flex their refined 140 chops.
After reuniting in the studio last year, Caspa and Rusko have created almost a full album's worth of tracks that promise to reflect a beautiful fusion of the two artists' distinct sounds, which marries their high energy take on old school UK wobbles with fresh production perspectives. Their reunification behind the decks has afforded them the opportunity to play these new tracks alongside their older, statement-making tunes, which is displayed pristinely in their new RinseFM mix, the first radio mix the duo has curated since reconvening as a back to back act.
